Dreams and Also Memories is an illustration concept project inspired by the feelings and colors associated with memories as they fade over time. Each look is inspired by a different adolescent memory, with naturally dyed fabric swatches throughout the ideation pages. The swatches are dyed with plants that can be found in the areas each memory took place. The abstract clay shapes are inspired by ancient Japanese stoneware. The solid clay shapes contrast soft silk georgette just as dreams and memories soften into gentle colors and shapes as they disappear into the past.
